Red sounds like the crisp when you eat a apple.
Red smells like strawberry jelly.
Red tastes like a red jelly donut.
Red feels like your heart sending blood to your body.
Red looks like the planet Mars.
Red sounds like your heart beating.
Red smells like a smell marker.
Red tastes like a red strawberry on a summer day.

Loggerhead Turtles

We wrote poems about turtles in preparation for our field trip to the Marine Science Center.

Loggerhead Turtle.
Sea turtles have brown flippers.
They are endangered.

The turtles never get to see their mom

Raccoons eat their eggs
The Logger head turtle is called that because it has a big head

The great threat is loss of nesting.
U.S. listed as threatened
Ridges and has large, non-over lapping, rough scutes.
They are boys if the sand is cool, they are girls if the sand is warm
Logger head-named for its exceptionally large head.
